Since they are such an oddity, I totally love my parrakeets (sic). One of the foto's of my flock was discovered by a group called cityparrots, or like that. Some robot found the 'monk parakeet' tag and asked if they could use the picture (yes). Here is a page on Chicago's parrots - it concentrates on the famous Hyde Park colony, not my flock.
I am happy they noticed.
