ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKE JOHNNY A DULL BOY!Work, work, and more work. And what are we working for? A quick chat with my buddy Citterio, he starred in one of my early student films, had us quickly in agreement. We are getting to that age where we've had enough of the working part of life and not enough of the enjoying. Sure we wasted away years of our lives staying out late, enjoying being young. Maybe where spoiled by the privilege of being college educated and white, from middle class neighborhoods, butt when we signed up, we didn't sign up for this. And to make matters worse we are both public servants. We chose our professions to help other, and what do we get for it. Bills and quiet nights at home resting up for the next days work. What do we do? The worst part of it all is that we have another 30 years of this shit, and it ain't gonna get any better. We , at least I, love my job, but there is a limit to how much a man or woman can take. How about a more European style work ethic, where they work to loive. Though the Europeans seem to be becoming more like us. No wonder kids are dropping out of school and drug use continues to grow.
