The many called them Vietnam veterans -- but The Lancing Five were into their own thing. This is a crank fone call from the early 90's. Credited to The Lancing Five, this call was a smash hit to many. It's presented to you via the excellent italian greyhound moviemaking works of Rocky. His job is excellent, as always, and inspiring as to what can be possible. It's great.
But in reality, the call itself is but a pale comparison to the earlier work of the Five. Oh, it's fun as hell--but over the years, the body of work they built up was stunning. And, finally, it is going to be released- again, rockinspiration. However, a lot of the work of the Lancing Five was so deeply un P.C., that some of the stuff just must remain in the vaults.
Here is the famous "Cows on the Runway" crank fone call-- and guess what? To the other members of the Lancing Five-- the Hard men behind the scences-- this is the first time they will hear it.
I want to do "car oil" and , of course, "the machine guns".

Mooch, was the C instead of S in "Lansing" intentional? My personal fave on radio-BigMan's call to Andrade & Coach Ditka. My fave quote "We're going after your wife...followed by smarmy laughter" - also by Big Man. His voice and laugh are classic. Another subject - Celtic beat ACMilan --wow! Arsenal -still undefeated in the Premiership and The CL.
