So, now that John Edwards is out of the race- shit- I now have to decide if I should vote for him anyway (in '04 primary I didn't vote 'cause Al Sharpton went out before Illinois- I always felt that I should have voted for him anyway), vote for my dead father, vote for myself, or evn vote @ all. In the primary, not the general. Nader or Green party then. tuesday yes i am excited, but less so now. Screw my Dad : Lets vote for ME !!

Could this electoral process be more flawed, less democratic? This time around it's particulary bad because of Michigan and Florida moving their primaries up on the calendar. The Democratic party chose to not recognize these primaries (no delegates awarded) despite the fact that these are the only two primary states (to this point)that have any semblance of a representative demographic.
Consequently, as a resident of Illinois, my anticipated vote for Edwards has been rendered Quioxotic. By the way, I remember voting for Al Sharpton -- was he really out at the time of the Illinois primary?
Even if Florida counted, its "winner takes all" rule frustrates even the slightest democtatic pretense. I can imagine a republican bitching that it's ridiculous that McKain is now the frontrunner becuase he got 32% of the vote. O.K. enough, I can't believe I'm writing this shit.
I believe you are Mr. shit hands
Who's the lady with the legs there?
