I have been thinking that, since I am a sub again- but much older/better than I was earlier in the decade - that maybe I shoud think about.....becoming a classroom teacher again.
I love being a 'media specialist'- I really love it- but since:
1.I am basically unemployed.
2.I believe that classroom teachers are the ones who have more influence on the kids.
3.I am/have been teaching 2 classes of World Studies, and it's been fun.
Now, my days as a classroom teacher were rough- very rough- but I was so deeply immature then, and ritelly know what success in the classroom entails from me. So, I have been looking into teaching in other schools, for the first time in a long time. It's really fun to have a classroom, one just has to do it rite.
