Gorgeousflights of horrid destruction -
planned flites of 800-900 heavy bombers (which means, a heavy heavy raid - gone are the days of nuclear strikes) -
(good/bad)-
didnt pan out-
instead, 'weather', 'communications', 'effective countermeasures'-
whatever jibber you use to communicate plans not going rite-
meant that the planned heavy strike of 800 heavies actually was somewhere in the range of 200 planes-
yeah, plans can be like that-
and a second strike, rushed into planning stages a few days later, was but to be around 350 planes -
but it turned out to be, say, 150.
The War, must be won.
Destruction loses the war.
But, the repeated use of massed flight of heavy bombers to do - do what - burn the world down? This loses wars. Destroys the peace. Loses the war.
It loses the war. div>
